Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Fuel Nozzle Technician for the 3rd shift at the Orlando Service Center. The role involves disassembling, inspecting and assembling fuel nozzles to meet stringent internal and customer requirements, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will read drawings and work instructions, perform TPMs, visual inspections, and use precision tools like borescopes, micrometers and calipers. On-the-job training and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read and interpret drawings/work instructions; communicate effectively in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and able to use common software applications.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and assemble fuel nozzles to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Read drawings and work instructions to perform tasks per procedures.
• Perform TPMs on equipment and conduct visual inspections for defects or damage.
• Use devices such as borescopes, micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches for measurement and inspection.
• Load/unload parts into chemical tanks and monitor tanks during cleaning/testing operations.
