Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a hands-on Fuel Island Attendant to support local facilities with fueling, basic maintenance, and parts delivery. You will greet drivers, fuel and maintain equipment, log fueling activity, and help keep shop areas tidy and safe.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or GED) and a willingness to work in a diesel truck environment. A Class E license is preferred. Team orientation and reliability are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in shop or warehouse environment is helpful.
• Desire to work around diesel trucks and equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, safety, reliability and accountability skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Class E driver’s license or equivalent to chauffeur’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet drivers and customers as they flow through the fuel lanes.
• Maintain, clean and fuel trucks as they come in and out of shop.
• Fill fluids and perform basic DOT checks on equipment receiving fuel.
• Complete daily fueling logs.
• Maintain a safe, clean fuel island environment.
• Perform janitorial duties in shop and office areas.

Job Summary

Assists local facilities with attending the fuel island demands, building maintenance functions to include housekeeping for the shop and office areas. Fundamental Building Maintenance repair when required; picks up and delivers parts and shop personnel, as required to assist shop operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets drivers and customers as they flow through the fuel lanes
• Maintains, cleans and fuels trucks as they come in and out of shop
• Fills all fluids and complete a fundamental D.O.T. check and check PM status of equipment list as they are receiving fuel
• Completes fueling log on daily basis
• Maintains safe and clean fuel island
• Janitorial duties in both shop and office area, as well as other tasks in outside environment
• Picks up and deliver parts and material, as required
• Transfers shop employees from equipment transfer, as required
• Other duties as assigned
