Job summary

Oklahoma Corporation Commission seeks an entry-level Fuel Specialist I to inspect fuel dispensers, test octane ratings, and verify underground storage tank integrity. Qualifications

• Two years of experience in petroleum inspection analysis or 12 college hours in engineering or physical sciences.
• Knowledge of state/federal rules governing fuel storage systems and inspection procedures.
• Ability to analyze technical data and prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fuel dispensers for accurate measurement and test octane ratings.
• Perform underground storage tank inspections for integrity and corrosion protection.
• Prepare inspection reports and notices of violation when needed.
• Advise station operators on compliance with Corporation Commission rules.
• Coordinate with other agencies and participate in meetings as needed.
