Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc in Abilene, TX is seeking a Diesel Fuel Injection Technician. The role focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary.

You will repair fuel injection pumps and injectors, test HPCR and electronic injectors, and calibrate to manufacturer specifications. Training provided for micrometer/caliper use.

Position Summary:

The Diesel Fuel Injection Technician focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Repair of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors(training provided)
• Clean and test HPCR Diesel Fuel Injectors on a Test Bench
• Test & rebuild all conventional mechanical injectors
• Disassemble and clean fuel injection pumps being rebuilt
• Testing of Electronic Common Rail Injectors
• Testing of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
• Operate and perform maintenance on injector test stands
• Calibrations to manufacturer specification
• Maintenance of test equipment as directed
• Follow directions and standard safety procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Work with hand tools.
• Works with Micrometer and Caliper(We will train)
• Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
• Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
• Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
