Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of experience in bulk handling and storage, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical, human relations, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises bargaining unit personnel and serves as a member of the management team.
• Coordinates Fuel Processing activities to ensure effective planning of resources (manpower, contractors, money, machines, methods, and materials).
• Participates in budget development for Operations, Maintenance and capital items.
• Maintains confidentiality of personnel and company matters.
• Ensures current labor agreement is administered; manages small to medium projects.
• Implements protective permits and tags per procedures.
• Analyzes reports from Fuel Processing Control Systems.
• Leads resolution of problems with Fuel Processing and Ash Plant equipment, production process, or manpower.
• Inspects Fuel Processing for OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Monitors train locations and inputs data into Fuel Inventory Systems (FIS).
• Communicates Fuel Processing information; interfaces with fuels group, plant employees and contractors.
• Leads Fuel Processing training to increase plant efficiency and safety; participates in grievance process.
