Menzies Aviation at Philadelphia International Airport is hiring a Fuel Farm Operator responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities and fueling equipment. The role is onsite and involves shift work supporting safe operations.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, handle jet fuel and related products, and must pass pre-employment checks, have a valid license, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug tests and a physical.
• Valid Driver's License and airport badges/seals required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and conducts basic maintenance on facilities and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventive maintenance.
• Performs routine inspections to meet company, customer, government and industry standards.
• Transfers product and monitors tanks and pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
• Works safely by following all policies and procedures.
• Onsite at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL); schedules: 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Pay rate is $24 per hour.

Role Purpose

The role of the Fuel Farm Operator is to be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.

What You Will Be Doing

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performance inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including related equipment on fueling vehicles.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures
• This position is onsite at PHL, Philadelphia International airport
• Schedule : 2nd shift (3:00 PM- 11:30 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM- 7:30 AM)
• Pay - $24/hour

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FFA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airports and customs badges/seals.
• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, work is primarily outdoors.
