Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator in Nashville to handle sampling, testing and routine maintenance of fueling facilities and vehicles. The role involves outdoor work across weather conditions and requires strict adherence to safety policies.

You will participate in quality control, assist technicians with equipment reporting, and perform routine inspections to ensure regulatory and company standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required and airport badges/seals may be needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform outdoor duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive/dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Sample and test products for quality control and perform basic maintenance on facilities and fueling equipment.
• Support technicians with reporting on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections to comply with company, customer, government and industry standards.
• Monitor storage tanks and pipelines, ensuring safe operations and preventing spills or contamination.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE.

Role Purpose

The role of the Fuel Farm Operator is to be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.

What You Will Be Doing

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performance inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including related equipment on fueling vehicles.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FFA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass all pre‑employment testing to include drug testing and a physical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airports and customs badges/seals.
• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, work is primarily outdoors.
