Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Fuel Farm Machinist Lead at Arnold AFB, TN to join a specialized fuels team supporting Air Force test operations and sustainment. The role involves daily operation of fuels storage and distribution, shift flexibility, and compliance with safety and security requirements.

The position requires five years of POL/fuels logistics experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and AF Fuels Apprentice training. U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment.
• Receives, samples, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines and tank trucks.
• Operates and maintains a LN2/GN2 conversion facility and related equipment.
• Assign overtime as required when Terminal Manager is unavailable.
• Wear PPE as directed and complete safety training.
• Perform other duties as required.

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Fuel Farm Machinist Lead supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB Tennessee. The selected candidate will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

The selected candidate for this requisition must be available to work any shift, and shift determination will be made based on the priority of work at the time the selected candidate is cleared to report to work.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist Fuels Management with the daily operation of the fuels section and assigned personnel.

Job Duties:

• Operates and maintains fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment
• Receives, samples, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines and tank trucks
• Operates and maintains a high pressure LN2/GN2 conversion facility, distribution system and equipment
• Assign overtime as required in the absence of the Terminal Manager
• It is a condition of employment to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy
• Participation in functional specific safety training
• Perform other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL) operations, commercial bulk fuel handling, or military fuels logistics.
• Must be a graduate of the AF Fuels Apprentice Course J3ABR2F03100AB or sister service equivalent.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to comprehend technical orders, safety directives, and emergency procedures in a high-hazard fuel storage or testing environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Stat Driver's License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and maintain authorized user access to the AEDC local area network.
• S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements and the necessity to access secure federal databases and networks on Arnold Air Force Base.
