Job summary

Avfuel Corp is hiring for a full-time Avflight Rochester fuel technician at Rochester, NY. You will receive and dispatch jet fuel and related products, perform basic maintenance, and support quality control and safety procedures in outdoor conditions.

This role requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, English proficiency, basic math, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Lifting up to 70 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Valid driver's license with no recent violations.
• Able to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor work environment; capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs basic maintenance.
• Supports QC with reports and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Performs inspections and ensures compliance with standards.
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks and pipelines.
• Maintains safety by following policies and recording log entries.
