Toot'n Totum is seeking a Fuel Driver to operate a commercial tanker truck and deliver fuel to multiple locations while complying with DOT regulations. The role requires careful attention to safety, accurate record-keeping, and professionalism on long shifts.
The successful candidate will hold an active CDL-A with hazmat and tanker endorsements and be prepared for 4PM–4AM shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The Fuel Driver is responsible for operating a commercial tanker truck to deliver fuel to various locations while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This is a crucial role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to safety, and a commitment to efficient delivery.

Must have an active Commercial Driver’s License A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
High School diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a Fuel Driver role, preferably in the transportation industry; OR Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Proficiency with dispatching software and GPS systems.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, balance, twist, and reach. Ability to push, lift and pull up to 75 lbs. Ability to move and position self to operate under, near and around components, uprights & glides, etc. Must be able to work adequately around outdoor weather conditions, fumes, toxic chemicals, vibration, and pressurized equipment. Must be able to use vision, read, write, and hear. Position requires grasping and utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination and the utilization of color vision. Use both feet and hands. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Must have the ability to drive 11 hrs. and work 12 to 14 hrs. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam, including vision, hearing, and physical fitness tests. Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read gauges, meters, and road signs. Adequate hearing to communicate and respond to safety alerts or traffic noises. Endurance to perform physical tasks over long shifts, which may include repetitive movements, climbing, and standing.
