Job summary

Reeder Distributors, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced Fuel Driver to ensure the safe, timely delivery of fuel products to customers.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, handle hazardous materials, and maintain excellent customer service while adhering to DOT and company safety standards. The role offers a full-time schedule with a 55-hour average workweek, home daily, and compensation ranging from $85,000 to $135,000 annually based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of fuel delivery experience required (gas, diesel, or dyed diesel).
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and Hazmat safety regulations.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform repetitive movements safely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all vehicles and fuel equipment to ensure compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Safely transport fuel products to and from terminals and customer locations.
• Load and unload product using proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately complete delivery logs, fuel tickets, and other required documentation.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to fuel transportation.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism and clear communication at all times.

JOB OVERVIEW

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Fuel Driver to join our team in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of fuel products to customers. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of DOT regulations, terminal procedures, and hazardous material handling, along with a commitment to safety and customer service.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

• Full-time position
• Monday through Saturday, or as business needs require
• Home daily
• Average of 55 hours per week

COMPENSATION

• $85,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience and performance)

KEY RESPONSBILITIES AS A FUEL BOBTAIL DRIVER

WHAT YOU'LL NEED AS A FUEL DRIVER

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of CDL A tanker or bobtail experience

This position primarily works in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, moving vehicles and equipment, and products and materials associated with warehouse operations. Employees are required to follow all applicable safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
