Alaska Petroleum Distributing (APD) has served the North Pole and surrounding areas since 1981. With strong local brand recognition and family-owned company culture, APD has a balanced commercial and retail customer portfolio, delivering heating oil, gasoline, and diesel fuels. It is the largest fuel distributor in the interior. Recognizing its complementary services, including linehaul and truck maintenance capabilities, APD joined the NorthStar family of companies in 2019.
APD prioritizes environmental safety, crafting and constructing the first state-approved, double-walled fuel storage tanks. Alaska Petroleum has over 100 tanks of various sizes, which is an offered service to contractors throughout the state. In addition, APD handles oil spill contingency products, including pads and barrels.
The Fuel Driver role plays a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient fuel delivery to customers through both dock and/or truck operations. This position involves a combination of dock duties and/or truck driving responsibilities to meet customer fueling needs. Must be able to pull a pup trailer with 5 years of experience.
