Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Fuels Distribution Operator to receive, store, transfer, and issue JP-8 and MOGAS at an Alaska site. The role involves fueling aircraft, inspecting systems, conducting lab tests, and performing maintenance on fuel facilities.

You will work in a remote location with requirements for driver’s license, background checks, and security clearance, plus the ability to operate within safety protocols and government standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years’ experience in JP-8, MOGAS, and diesel fuels storage and dispensing systems, mobile fuel equipment, refinery systems inspections and repairs.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, fingerprints, and a fit-for-duty physical exam; medically cleared for long-term residency in a remote location.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, operate and distribute fuels and lubricants for facilities systems.
• Receive, store, inventories, and issue JP-8 and MOGAS.
• Inspect and control corrosion for fuel systems and facilities.
• Conduct tests and analyzes bulk fuels in on-site lab.
• Refuel military and civilian aircraft.
• Disassemble, adjust, calibrate meters and gauges; perform maintenance on dispensing systems.
