Job summary

Air National Guard Units in District of Columbia is seeking a Fuel Distribution System Operator (Title 32) to manage and operate a Type III hydrant fuel distribution system for aviation and ground fuels in support of the DC Air National Guard mission. This is an excepted service technician position requiring military membership and compatible assignment.

Minimum rank is E-4/SRA with a maximum of E-6/TSGT; a Secret clearance must be obtainable within one year.

Qualifications

• Requires membership in DC Air National Guard and compatible military assignment.
• Minimum Military Rank: E-4/SRA; Maximum Military Rank: E-6/TSGT.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within one year.

Responsibilities

• Manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency.
• Operate and maintain a Type III hydrant fuel distribution system.
• Perform operator maintenance including checking components, calibrating injectors, and draining lines.
• Operate aviation and ground fuel tank trucks up to 6,000 gallons capacity.
• Adhere to military standards and duties as assigned.
