Job summary

Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana is seeking a Fuel Distribution Systems Operator who will receive, store, transfer and issue petroleum products. The role requires preparing and checking receiving documents, connecting lines, grounding wires, and loading and offloading arms or hoses.

The Fuel Distribution Systems Operator receives, stores, transfers, and issues petroleum, p repares and checks receiving documents, c onnects lines, grounding wires, and loading and offloading arms or hoses, v isually inspects each systems prior to the first use of each day; Ensures systems not being used are inspected at least once every seven days, g auges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels, c hecks pumping systems for correct operating pressure or unusual noises, p erforms operator inspections on fuel and distribution systems, a ssists in maintenance of loading and offloading area, w orks within a framework of established DLA policies, and procedures, or other governing supply management guidelines.
