Job summary

Offen Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a Fuel Driver to deliver loads of petroleum products to customer locations safely and efficiently, within dispatch directions. This role may operate 24/7 year-round in various weather conditions and offers a quarterly driver safety bonus program up to $1,500.

The driver will comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain logs. Strong English communication and a solid driving history are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years of driving history.
• Able to operate trucks with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems (Samsara) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loads in a safe and timely manner
• Follow Offen policies and procedures and local and federal laws
• Safely operate equipment, including power units, power take off, hydraulic pumps, gravity drop tank trailers and tank wagons
• Wear company uniforms and use all required PPE at each terminal and customer location
• Follow all current DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
• Comply with mandatory drug and alcohol standards
• Ensure that the company vehicle is safe and reliable to operate and is serviced regularly; report repair needs
• Maintain and abide by legal, electronic logs, and maintain a paper log if necessary
• Attend required driver training and safety meetings
• Properly and timely complete delivery paperwork and turn in at end of shift
• Other duties as assigned
