Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is hiring a Fuel Truck Driver to operate company fuel delivery trucks and deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and operational excellence.

The driver will travel roughly 75% of the time, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and complete all delivery paperwork. DOT/FMCSA rules, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and TWIC credential requirements apply.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B is required with a safe driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are REQUIRED.
• TWIC is REQUIRED or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations, pre-employment drug testing, and medical certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company fuel delivery trucks per policies and DOT regulations.
• Load, transport, and unload petroleum products following safety procedures.
• Travel ~75% to support customers and operations; adapt to schedules and routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Complete and log delivery documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and operations to ensure safe delivery.
