Job summary

TAIT is hiring a Fuel Construction Foreman to lead field operations and supervise crews on commercial petroleum projects in California, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery on every job site. You’ll coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors; inspect work; maintain daily progress reports; and liaise with Project Managers.

3–5 years in fuel construction supervision and strong leadership required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial petroleum construction or related field supervision.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and technical documents.
• Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and project needs.
• Clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Organized, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and actively participate in daily field operations
• Supervise job site personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and correctly
• Coordinate materials, equipment rentals, and deliveries
• Inspect materials and equipment for quality and accuracy upon arrival
• Schedule and meet with inspectors; manage inspection process
• Conduct and document daily safety meetings and enforce safety compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
• Monitor project schedules, labor hours, and productivity
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Construction Managers
• Document job progress, including daily photo reporting
• Report incidents, delays, or field changes promptly
