Job summary

Kroger in Savannah, GA is seeking a team member to assist customers and manage the fuel center, keeping areas neat and compliant. You will pump gas, run the register, perform daily tours and incident reporting, and help with merchandising.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork; you will follow company policies, respond to spills, and support minors, seniors, and guests while maintaining a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Pump gas.
• Complete daily tour and inspection.
• Fill out incident and security reports.
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report.
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department.
• Perform cashier functions.
• Answer telephones.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
