Job summary

Kroger in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a team member to assist customers, operate the fuel center, and maintain cleanliness and safety. You will pump gas, perform cashier duties, and complete required reports while upholding Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow policies, and provide friendly service to customers of all ages. Previous related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
