Job summary

Retif Oil & Fuel, L.L.C. is seeking a CDL driver based in Harvey, LA to deliver petroleum products and manage loading/unloading at customer sites. You will handle electronic logs and adhere to motor carrier safety regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsements, has 3+ years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and can pass DOT physical and drug screening. Expect varied schedules and routine travel with a team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsement.
• Is 25 years old with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Is currently a gas hauler or had previous experience.
• Has a clean driving record.
• Is able pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk tank trailers at various racks.
• Unload petroleum products at customer locations in tanks located above and below ground.
• Maintain equipment according to company guidelines.
• Maintain electronic driving logs.
• Complete electronic Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Maintain contact with dispatch to receive loading and delivery instructions.
• Communicate any customer needs to appropriate personnel.
• Report all accidents and injuries to supervisor.
• Work evenings and/or weekends, and travel as required.

Requirements

The best candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Possess valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsement

Additionally, while performing duties, the employee is required to sit, stoop, lift up to 15 pounds, type, communicate effectively, manage conflict, work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings, and travel.
