Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Two or more years of related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Customer service skills and ability to understand verbal communication
• Must be 18 years or older
• Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and understanding codes and instructions
• Dependability and thoroughness
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, holidays, and at different locations
• Ability to develop professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up practices
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
• DOT safety regulated and safety-sensitive position

• Regulated Service Employee requirements:
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, and road test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years

Responsibilities

• Fuel, wash, and detail vehicles
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, check tire pressure, oil, and report service issues
• Record fuel activity and maintain fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation
• Move heavy-duty vehicles
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire repairs under supervision
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards; perform facility and minor maintenance tasks as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
