Qualifications

Role Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees and contractors
  • Fuel & Lube/oil changes on heavy and medium duty equipment in the field.
  • Maintain and Record equipment hours in SAP
  • Report on condition of equipment and create notifications for repairs.
  • Responsible for delivering fuel to all vehicles on a site preparation. Load and unload products as needed.
  • Obtain oil analysis samples from the engine, transmission, and differentials of equipment at specified intervals based on the number of hours of equipment operation.
  • Maintain records of part numbers for air, oil, and fuel filters, blades, and other parts required by each piece of equipment serviced.
  • Comply and complete planned and scheduled work orders.
  • Communicate with Supervisor daily to obtain schedule and additional activities.
  • Safely operate Company vehicles.
  • Assist in keeping the vehicle in good working condition.
  • Work closely with the planners and coordinators when creating or modifying maintenance tactics.
  • Work with others to develop and implement changes/modifications for continuous improvements to maintenance process and procedures.

Performance of this position requires exposure to industrial areas, respirator fit test which requires the use of respirators in controlled areas. Personal protective equipment such as appropriate footwear, high visibility clothing, safety glasses with side shields, and mandatory hearing protection is required. Industrial areas include hazardous chemicals and fumes.

  • Requires walking on varying surfaces, including hazardous and slippery conditions throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to move product. Proper lifting techniques required.
  • Work outside in all weather conditions.

  • Experience with data systems and organization is desired.
