Job Title: FTZ Trade Operations Manager

We are seeking a talented FTZ Trade Operations Manager to join our logistics team remotely from your home office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of import/export laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing technical expertise.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve processes to reduce risks and costs associated with import/export activities.
  • Business Advising: Guide the business in capturing new opportunities and meeting current needs in a compliant and cost-effective manner.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as an escalation point for resolving complex, non-routine problems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Management Reporting: Review and present reports on import/export activities to support decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on import/export topics and promote employee development.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain and expand relationships with governmental agencies and brokers to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
  • Export Controls Management: Develop understanding of export control laws, communicate updates, review applications, and monitor compliance programs.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Possibility of licensing for export controls or sanctions compliance.
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience, including supervisory roles.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with implementing and managing a Foreign Trade Zone.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and U.S. Customs Brokerage Licensure (preferred).
Additional Information

Salary range: $103,200 - $154,800. Final offer depends on qualifications and experience.
