Job summary

GAS, Inc. is seeking an entry-level FTIR Emissions Specialist to support emissions testing and data analysis for clients across the region. You will serve as the primary client contact, ensuring professional service and clear communication while following safety and testing protocols.

The role provides on-the-job training and opportunities to grow in environmental compliance, with variable schedules based on customer activity and needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management for timely tasks completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (company-provided transportation).
  • Physical capability to lift up to 85 pounds and work at heights.
  • Must pass MVR, Background, and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct emissions tests at job sites for clients including Oil & Gas producers, hospitals, and warehouses.
  • Monitor and analyze emissions data to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Adhere to test procedures to ensure quality source testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed emissions reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations and best practices.

About the Role:

As an Emissions Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting emissions tests and analyzing emissions data. As the primary point of contact with clients, it's essential to demonstrate professionalism, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain clear and effective communication throughout all interactions. Your role will require strong attention to detail, adherence to all safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members. Your dedication will directly support our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management for timely tasks completion
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed (company-provided transportation)
  • Physical capability to lift up to 85 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and work at elevated heights
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Eagerness to learn with a coachable mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21
  • Must be able to pass MVR Check, Background Check, and Drug Screening
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications in SafeLand and H2S
  • Proficiency in Apple and or Windows-based computers
  • Experience towing trailers
Key Responsibilities:

Work Schedule:

The work schedule will vary from day to day and week to week. There can be long days and short days, long weeks and short weeks. Please note that the work schedule is based on customer activities and needs.
