Primary Purpose

The main goal of this role is to prepare various food items such as sandwiches, subs, roasted or fried chicken, pizza, and deli foods, and to merchandise them according to plan-o-gram (POG).

Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Manage production planning and invoice review.
  3. Prepare products for the sales floor, including hot bar and deli items, following SOPs.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas and equipment.
  5. Complete daily food safety logs and track losses using known loss tracking (KLT).
  6. Train team members and assist customers as needed.
  7. Create and display food items such as sandwiches, pizza, and deli meats, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
  8. Handle roasting and frying of chicken, including preparation, cooking, and packaging.
  9. Perform regular cleaning of equipment and work areas, including specific equipment breakdowns every 4 hours.
  10. Order and produce smoked products as per SOPs.
  11. Use cleaning tools and sanitizers to ensure a hygienic work environment.
  12. Maintain records and perform order reviews.
  13. Manage merchandise execution across various food programs and organize sales floor areas.
General Rules
  • Report accidents and injuries promptly.
  • Follow safety instructions and wear PPE as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions and follow emergency procedures.
  • Adhere to dress code and conduct policies, including no horseplay or running.
  • Understand and comply with all safety, food safety, and operational policies, including MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
  • Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance requirements, including attendance.
  • Proficient in using or willing to learn necessary equipment and tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking for 45%, and exposure to varying temperatures.
Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual and policy documents.
