Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix, color, load, frost, and decorate cakes with frosting.
3. Take, complete, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
4. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to complete job duties and follow policies and safety regulations.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and job performance standards, including attendance.
• Ability to use or learn to use required equipment and tools safely.
• Willingness to wear proper work attire.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: Continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: Up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%, Sit: 0%, Walk: 45%.
• Category IV: Lifting, carrying, and P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
