*Based out of Chicago or Cleveland - with travel to the NYC + Toronto offices for larger meetings. This person can work remote-first but should be willing to attend meetings in person*

Our client is a global asset manager with over $900 billion in assets under management, focusing primarily on real estate and infrastructure. They are seeking a contractor to manage their cyber and IT infrastructure projects. Please note, you must already work as a contractor and have your own entity set up.

This role includes implementing a new MDR provider (Managed Detection & Response), access, data center, and identity unification.

If you have a PMP qualification, it will be highly beneficial, as these will be your primary responsibilities:

  • Managing internal and external stakeholders across security, business, and IT teams
  • Project management from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence
  • Managing risks and devising mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on timelines and deliverables
  • Maintaining high quality standards while working efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Minimum requirements include:

  • Proven success as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure and/or cyber projects, especially those involving identity access management and data center migration
  • Strong technical understanding of networks, servers, security solutions, storage, and incident response
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Potential projects may include but are not limited to:

  • Selecting and onboarding a new MDR provider (new MSSP to enhance security)
  • Identity Access Management Unification
  • Privileged Access Management Unification
  • Data Center Unification and/or Migration
