Are you an experienced retirement plan administrator seeking a dynamic remote role? Join this Third-Party Administrator (TPA) firm and lead the management of custom-designed 401(k) plans for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee full administration of 401(k) plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct compliance testing, including nondiscrimination, ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and coverage testing
  • Prepare and file annual reports such as Form 5500, 8955-SSA, and other regulatory filings
  • Monitor plan operations to ensure adherence to IRS, DOL, and ERISA guidelines
  • Process contributions, distributions, loans, and rollovers with proper tax treatment
  • Maintain and update plan documents according to regulatory requirements
  • Perform plan audits and reconcile financial records to resolve compliance issues
  • Ensure timely RMDs for eligible participants
  • Provide guidance on corrective actions, including amendments and contribution reallocations
  • Stay current with legislative and regulatory changes to ensure client compliance
  • Engage in daily client communication regarding compliance and regulatory concerns
  • Collaborate with plan sponsors, financial advisors, and payroll providers
  • Utilize ftwilliam software for compliance and reporting management

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a TPA firm handling full 401(k) plan administration
  • Strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with ftwilliam software
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • QKA or other ASPPA designation is a plus
