FT Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor 7a-7p, every other weekend

Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Support the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Nursing Department and Deer Meadows Retirement Community.
  • Assign resident care responsibilities based on resident needs, staff availability, and unit needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality care, including transcribing physician's orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality, quantity, and timeliness of nursing care.
  • Evaluate work performance of staff and apply disciplinary actions when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school and licensed as a Registered Nurse in PA.
  • Knowledge of nursing, medical practices, procedures, and legal regulations pertaining to long-term care.
  • Leadership skills and ability to develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
