Primary Purpose

As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform distribution center shipping/receiving functions, ensuring accurate and safe movement of products throughout the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned
• Complete all related documentation accurately
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy orders for shipment
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
• Recommend process modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications

• Certification on powered industrial equipment (if applicable)
• Proficiency with computers for data entry and research
• Motivated self-starter and team player with attention to detail
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a distribution environment preferred

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to meet production standards
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to read and understand product identifiers
• Flexibility to work required schedules
• Experience working in a warehouse with varying conditions
