Primary Purpose

As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform distribution center shipping/receiving functions, playing a vital role in moving products accurately and safely throughout the center.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee
• Complete all related shipping/receiving documentation
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy orders for shipment
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-operational checks of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
• Recommend process modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications

• Certification in powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Proficiency with computers for data entry and research
• Motivated, detail-oriented team player capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a distribution environment preferred

Preferred Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly, reach, stoop, and stand for long periods
• Ability to read and understand product identifiers
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours and in varying warehouse conditions
