Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of driving/route delivery experience.
• Valid SC Driver's License required.
• MVR must meet MHM insurance criteria.
• DOT physical required.
• Ability to pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Supervises loading/unloading and assists with truck loading.
• Submits Truck Mileage Daily log and Driver Daily Checklist.
• Performs routine maintenance checks and cleans the truck.
• Plans daily route for maximum efficiency.
• Projects ministry values to clients, donors and ministry employees.
• Operates truck in accordance with all laws and safety standards.
• Willing to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Summary / Purpose Of Position

Drives truck over assigned route to deliver stock to thrift stores, completes donor pickups and services donation centers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists loading and unloading truck
• Completes and submits Truck Mileage Daily log, Driver Daily Checklist and work orders
• Performs routine maintenance checks and cleans truck
• Plans daily route for maximum efficiency
• Projects ministry values and philosophy to clients, donors and ministry employees
• Operates truck in accordance with all laws and rules of safe operation and vehicle performance
• Has a willingness to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include training clients, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications/Education/Certification

• Education or equivalent experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required
• Years of experience: 1 year
• License/Certification: Valid SC Driver's License is required
• MVR record must meet MHM insurance criteria
• DOT physical required
• Ability to pass a road test
