Job description

Summary

KOCO Child Care Center in East Hampton, CT is looking for a full-time experienced Toddler Teacher. The hours are 7:00-3:00 or 8:00-4:30, and pay starts at $16.95/hour (higher with ECE credits). Successful candidates have experience and/or education in early childhood, have an understanding of curriculum and CT-ELDS, are reliable, and can cooperate with a partner teacher. Position is available immediately.


Duties
  1. Cooperate with co-teacher
  2. Interact with parents and junior staff
  3. Facilitate learning for up to 8 students ages 2 years
  4. Generate lesson plans using a variety of resources
  5. Understand and employ CT-ELDS

Requirements
  1. At least 18 years old
  2. Experience in early childhood education, preferably Under 3
  3. Good work ethic, reliable attendance
  4. Ability to cooperate with others
