Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to receive, process, price, and sell donated goods efficiently. The thrift associate will support various store functions including sales floor, fitting room, cashier, and back of house areas, based on store needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Receive donations courteously from donors and truck drivers.
2. Sort, price, and stage donated goods for sale promptly.
3. Work with urgency to meet production goals while maintaining quality.
4. Assist with loading and unloading donations.
5. Prepare and rotate crates for efficient processing.
6. Greet customers and donors warmly, providing excellent service.
7. Handle sales transactions accurately and maintain the cash register.
8. Answer phones and make store announcements professionally.
9. Keep work areas and store tidy and organized.
10. Follow safety procedures and report hazards or accidents.
11. Operate pallet jacks or forklifts safely if certified.
12. Share the good news of Jesus Christ, give personal testimonies, and pray with/for those served.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Reach into bottom of boxes as needed.
