Job summary

Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN, is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to provide professional mental health care and case management for assigned patients. You will work with the treatment team to ensure proper discharge planning, complete assessments, and facilitate individual and group therapy.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, active state licensure (LCSW preferred), and experience in psychiatric settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
• State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field; LCSW, preferred
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention, preferred. Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT experience, preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Position Summary:

The Inpatient Therapist provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients. Therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and treatment team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient. Therapists will complete assessments, facilitate treatment planning, provide group therapists, and meet with patients individually.

Job Requirements:

Education:
