United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Tech for our Maple Lawn Surgery Center in Maryland.

The role supports sterile technique, instrument handling, and perioperative readiness, ensuring a sterile field during procedures and contributing to efficient patient care. The ideal candidate will have a surgical technician program, state certification as required, and experience in ambulatory surgery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of Surgical Technician program or equivalent experience.
• Certification as required by state/center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their application.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and work collaboratively.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

The Surgical Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and also assists sterile processing by decontaminating, processing and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment. This individual maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Pay Range: $25.02/hr. - $38.09/hr.

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, certifications and experience.
