Position Overview

Our Sales Ambassadors at Ralph Lauren curate exceptional lifestyle experiences for our clients. They are passionate about the brand, infusing every interaction with sophisticated style. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, they leverage their expertise to nurture lasting personal connections and exceed sales goals. Through active listening and insightful understanding, they identify opportunities to deepen client appreciation for the Ralph Lauren lifestyle. Sales Ambassadors are leaders within the store and serve as the entry point for future management roles, allowing individuals to begin their Next Great Chapter and contribute to our brand's legacy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, showcasing detailed product knowledge, and offering personalized styling recommendations.
  2. Develop personal business growth strategies to enhance productivity through comprehensive wardrobing, outreach, and leveraging digital tools for clienteling.
  3. Support sales achievement by collaborating with the team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while upholding brand standards and policies.
  4. Guide and coach Brand Ambassadors to deliver customer-centric behaviors and relationship-building skills, contributing to overall team success.
  5. Build genuine connections with customers, providing advice and product recommendations aligned with their preferences.
  6. Understand sales goals and consistently meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as SPH and data capture, utilizing key tools effectively.
  7. Adapt product showcases based on whether customers are remote or in-person, demonstrating flexibility to meet customer needs.
  8. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Polo Connect to capture meaningful customer data supporting clienteling and business initiatives.
  9. Participate in store and company initiatives, including community outreach programs.
  10. Balance multiple tasks while prioritizing the Ralph Lauren customer experience.
  11. Provide feedback to management regarding category opportunities or needs.
  12. Maintain store visual standards following visual techniques and company guidelines.
  13. Support a professional, positive, and inclusive work environment, championing company values and policies, and collaborating with colleagues.
  14. Engage in team training and company initiatives to achieve business results.
  15. Assist in sourcing top talent through networking and sourcing efforts.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Sales experience in a high-volume, high-profile, or complex retail environment preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Physical ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, dressing rooms, and operate chemicals safely.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb, and stand/move for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Experience with digital tools for selling is preferred.
