Schedule Commitment

Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule for this position requires:

1. Working rotating shifts (day & night)
2. Three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts per week
3. Every third (3rd) weekend
4. One holiday per season

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care, including:

1. Performing nursing procedures for patient comfort and well-being
2. Maintaining documentation on all patients, including flow sheets
3. Having advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection, including T&S and Blood Cultures
4. Assisting physicians with examinations and tests
5. Providing respiratory and rehabilitation services

Qualifications

To qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. One of the following certifications: PCT, CNA, or EMT (preferred)
3. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience or certification with advanced skills within six months of hire
4. AHA BLS certification
