FT Quality Improvement Auditor-Remote or On Site

Description

The QI Auditor will be primarily responsible for providing oversight and ensuring compliance with documentation, appropriate billing, and adherence to all clinical services (direct and indirect), policies, and procedures for all clinical programs/services provided by the agency. This oversight will be accomplished via ongoing clinical audits on files.

Requirements

FT, 40-hour work week, Exempt position

Starting Salary: $55,000+ depending on experience and licensure

Essential Job Functions
  1. Assist and provide clinical supervision, direction, and training for staff as needed.
  2. Train all new clinical staff in documentation expectations.
  3. Maintain effective clinical file audit and tracking system with required reports, auditing treatment plans, safety plans, assessments, and other documentation.
  4. Assist QI Director in program/service coordination and oversight.
  5. Develop and provide records/reports promptly.
  6. Maintain program auditing and tracking tools monthly for agency programs.
  7. Collaborate closely with Directors and Program Managers.
  8. Complete and respond to external audits for insurance companies promptly.
  9. Create case management tools for clinicians and programs.
  10. Distribute annual client satisfaction and stakeholder surveys.
  11. Assist in maintaining CARF standards.
  12. Track all CIRs to MCOs and train staff on filing procedures.
  13. Help create and review program handbooks.
  14. Develop training logs for clinical and other programs.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude and uphold inter-staff relationships.
  16. Carry out the agency's mission statement.
  17. Ensure regular and consistent attendance.
  18. Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality at all times.

Knowledge of: Electronic Health Record systems, Microsoft Suite, and other web-based programs. May assist with CARF policies if needed.

Skills in: Multitasking, problem-solving, decision making, listening, adaptability, clear communication, operating a computer, typing, attention to detail, teamwork, and discretion.

Education: Master's degree in Counseling or related field. LPCC or LCSW strongly preferred.

Experience: Five years of clinical experience, QI experience preferred.
