Join to apply for the FT/PT Licensed Hairstylist/Barber role at Retro Fitness

We are seeking a Full or Part-time hair stylist for a high-volume salon with flexible hours and an established customer base.

As the largest Great Clips franchisee in the country, we aim to offer the highest effective wage in the market, which includes base wage, productivity, product commissions, and tips. Last week, our staff's average effective wage was $31.26/hr. No one earns less than $20/hr in total.

Benefits include free shears (valued at $199) for interviews and a $300 signing bonus. We provide ongoing training, both virtual and hands-on.

Responsibilities:

1. Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
2. Listening to clients' needs to determine their preferences.
3. Describing different hair care products and their benefits.
4. Shampooing, cutting, and styling hair.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid barber or cosmetology license.
2. Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers is helpful.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Creative mindset and a good eye for design.

Compensation includes base pay, product commissions, productivity bonuses, and tips.
