Job summary

Visiting Angels - Gilford is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You’ll offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help with light housekeeping, meals, and transportation.

This role emphasizes professional, dependable caregivers who can lift up to 25 pounds, manage documentation on a smartphone, and pass a background check. CNA/LNA experience is a plus and dementia experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and professional demeanor.
• Experience with seniors or disabled adults preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Active automobile insurance required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for clock in and documentation.
• CNA/LNA certification or relevant experience a plus.
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus.
• Must enjoy assisting others.
