Job summary

Visiting Angels - Auburn is seeking caring, reliable Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. We offer day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, with part-time and full-time opportunities to fit around your life.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional caregiving approach.
• Experience caring for seniors or disabled adults preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required; active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany to appointments.
• Run errands and perform grocery shopping as needed.
• Transport clients to activities and manage daily living tasks.
• Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation.
• Support client independence and safety in the home.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
