Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking an armed security officer for locations in Stamford and Bridgeport. The role runs Tue/Wed/Fri 7:15am–7:00pm and Thu 8:45am–6:30pm, totaling about 39 hours per week with a wage of $28.60 per hour.

Full-time positions are available; part-time flex positions are also offered. Requirements include 3 years in law enforcement, corrections, or active/retired military. Responsibilities include staying alert, monitoring pedestrian traffic, patrolling premises,

• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility.
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients.
• Using oral de-escalation when needed.
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur.

Armed Security Officer Responsibilities

Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
• 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years Armed security experience required
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
