Primary Purpose

Perform duties to ensure the department's appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety are maintained at the highest standards. Support Hannaford's strategy and build customer relations through enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 75 lbs.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Meet activity standards for the department.
• Bend, reach, grasp, and lift produce items regularly.
• Use hands for feeling objects and handling tools.
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products.
• Tolerate working in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Compensation

Salary range: $15.50 - $20.15 per hour.
