Job summary

Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM Stores) in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a management-level employee for a full-time hourly role. Pay begins at $20 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits and a 90-day raise policy.

The department operates Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm, and eligibility for employee discounts is highlighted. The ideal candidate will lead the processing team, train new staff, set daily goals, and manage administrative tasks while aligning with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Ability to write clearly by hand.
• Strong computer skills including typing and web browsing.
• Ability to interpret and follow written or oral instructions.
• Must become proficient in production to meet goals.
• Physical requirement to stand up to 100% of a shift, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the processing team to meet daily/weekly goals.
• Train new employees to ensure proper onboarding and performance.
• Set daily goals and plan the day according to projections.
• Handle administrative duties: schedules, coaching docs, performance logs, and related records.
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations to address store issues and employee relations.
• Uphold KARM Stores' mission and core values while leading the team.

This management position's pay rate begins at $20/hr based on experience.

KARM Stores management must be 18 or older. Department hours are 9a -6p, Mon - Sat.

• Ability to produce quick and accurate work in a face-paced environment, successfully staying above company average of pieces produced per hour.

Motivate and encourage the processing team to adhere to daily and weekly production goals.

Responsible for the training of new employees in order to ensure the employees have all essential training needed to be successful in their position.

Must be able to appropriately set daily goals and plan their day according to projections/targets.

Complete with accuracy and a high level of organization all administrative needs of the store including schedules, coaching documentation, performance logs and any other necessary documentation that is needed for the operation of the department.

Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations to ensure all store issues, praises, employee relations, etc. are addressed.

Skills & Requirements
