Job summary

Knox Area Rescue Ministries is seeking an entry-level processing team member in Oak Ridge, TN. The role involves accepting donations, presorting, and pricing merchandise while meeting production goals in a fast-paced setting.

The position starts at $13–$14 per hour with benefits and PTO, and includes opportunities for raises and career growth. Some Saturdays required; 9a–6p hours with a 90-day raise program.

Qualifications

• Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
• Must become proficient in production to meet established goals.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity; stand up to 100% of a standard work day.
• Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Entry-level pay begins from $13- 14/hr based on experience. Department hours are 9a - 6p, some Saturdays required.

All team members are eligible for a 90-day raise

• Is able to perform, daily, any of the required job duties within the processing team and department. This includes all requirements related to accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise.

Achieve daily and weekly production goals set by the manager. This includes hitting the overall company goal of 35 pieces produced per hour.

Ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Requirements

Lifting and Bending – up to 75% of a standard work day.

Moderate to heavy physical activity. This position may require frequent strenuous activity. The ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential for job performance.
