The primary responsibilities include filling prescriptions, assisting customers, unpacking totes, answering phones, and responding to questions within specified limits. Certification at the state or national level is required and must be maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at the start of each shift.
2. Move, open, unpack totes, and organize supplies on shelves.
3. Clean shelves, check inventory levels, and inspect products for expiration dates.
4. Assist customers and manage telephone inquiries.
5. Verify customer identification for regulated products.
6. Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.
7. Maintain necessary certifications and, if qualified, perform immunizations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet minimum age requirements by state.
• Successfully pass background and drug screenings.
• Effective reading, writing, communication skills.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards.
• Ability to operate required equipment.
• Adhere to safety and company policies.
• Possess and maintain relevant licenses and certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift of 4 hours, with flexibility based on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of the time.
• Perform tasks safely and meet physical demands.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and legal compliance.
• Knowledge of MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and HIPAA training.
• Completion of additional pharmacy-specific training.
