Job Title: FT/PT Mobile Center Store (Grocery) Associate

Department: Center Store (Grocery)

Reports To: Mobile Center Store (Grocery) Manager

Travel: Travel required within a select geography

Primary Purpose: Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department. Responsible for maintaining standards, maximizing sales through excellent service, and minimizing shrink through proper practices. Mobile Center Store Associates service 1-3 Food Lion locations daily and 4-5 locations weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates
• Clean shelves and shelf tags, stock merchandise, and ensure proper display
• Follow company guidelines, policies, and safety procedures
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat appearance
• Complete required training courses
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems
• Meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements of the position

Physical Requirements:

• Use of computers and communication systems
• Perform repetitive motions, lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 75 lbs., stand and walk frequently
• Handle substances related to cleaning and packaging
• Work in extreme temperatures for short periods
