Qualifications

• Current LPN or Paramedic license required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.
• Experience in a correctional healthcare environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care and evaluate symptoms and patient progress.
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards.
• Perform emergency interventions and physical assessments.

Location: Iredell County Detention Center

Open Position: FT LPN or Paramedic

Schedule: 12 hr Night Shift Rotation, 5:45p - 6:15a w/Alternating Weekends

Sign-on & Retention Bonus

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
